Oddly enough, I really liked that part in the books. It showed that bad choices have repercussions . . . even for leading characters.

BUT! BUT! I'll always take some Danaerys and unsullied! :D :D Her snooty little face is so adorable and your little marching Unsullied kind of make me want little Unsullied plushies.

I liked it too (in the show, cuz again never read the books). Not because "bad choices have repercussions" though, to me there is more than enough of that on the show, but because it reminded us that this is a realistic show where sometimes the good guys lose in the worst and most unexpected ways. I've heard a lot of people are "quitting the show" after watching this ep but I don't understand that, if anything I want to see more. I'm sad that that storyline has come to an end cuz I found it more interesting than some of the others and those involved I was really starting to like. But what can ya do. The show must go on, and I will be there for every ep :)

Haha plushie unsullied!!

(That's okay! All my show-watchin' buddies are show-only. I have learned to have excellent pokerface when being asked what happens next.) You make a good point that repercussions come up a lot on GoT, heck you could make a good argument for it being one of the show's core themes. The fact that the show doesn't spare the good guys or the main characters does give it a lot of extra bite and, even with the zombies and the dragons and the warging, a sense of realism. I kind of understand the folks who say they're rage-quitting after this episode because GoT broke a pretty standard expectation in modern TV--that all good-guy mains have plot armor--but it's that lack of plot armor and that non-standard method of fantasy storytelling that makes the story so good.

To the etsys! Surely someone has made one.

Yeah that was definitely one of the saddest parts out of all 5 books. When I read I got so angry. Love the picture:D

Well for the most part they are pretty good about sticking to the books. There are usually some changes here and there. Mostly with ages. Like in the show all the kids are at least 3 to 4 years older. Rickon is 3 in the first book and 6 in the show. But those changes I can understand. And trust me, after that things aren't so bad anymore.
