Sailor Scouts - Powerby ~perishing-twinkie

Yay! Finally. I kept drawing these three over and over, never fully satisfied with their poses. And finally, I think I'm okay with it.

You might notice a distinct style change between this and the others in the series, the others were done in ballpoint pen and scanned in straight without lineart touchups.. but this one I had so much trouble with (especially pluto and uranus) tht I had to just fix it up digitally. So I just went with it. I'm not sure if the next one in the series will follow this style or the previous one I established but I guess we'll see. ^__^

Very cool. I've got to agree with previous commenters about the sweet dynamic in this picture: the poses fit their personalities really well.

I've got one question though, if you don't mind. Is there something odd about Neptune's upwards-pointing hand or am I just looking it the wrong way? To me it looks like she has two right hands. Unless the "thumb line" there is a fold in the fabric on the back of her hand and not the palm.

Regardless, a lovely piece of art.

No problem.

Hands are an especially tricky thing to draw and I've noticed it's surprisingly easy for people to get two of the same by accident, especially if distracted when drawing. Besides, I don't think one mistake ruins an entire drawing (heck, I've made many in mine over the years), especially if it can be fixed or covered up later. And well, since nobody seemed to have noticed this one before...
