The Sorrow of Fanelia

Oh, Van, Van, Van. This poor kid goes through SO much throughout the series. SO much. He covers up his pain pretty well by raging out on the bad guys, but every hero has a breaking point. This was his. I don't want to go into details about which scene in particular this is representing, there are still a few people who haven't seen the series. But is was a very difficult one for him. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY SPOILERS IN YOUR COMMENTS.

I was at school animating and whenever I do this I always end up taking a break and drawing something else. For some reason I've been very about Escaflowne lately, which is weird because I haven't watched any of it since the summer. Anyway, Van, a very distraught and possibly OOC Van, appeared on my paper. I colored it quickly. I like it, even though it breaks my heart. Poor Van.
